My work ranges from vessels, which intrigue the user through their form, to containers that are inspired by mechanical mechanisms and movements. Silver is the main material I use within my work but I also use base metals such and copper and gilding metal, which either are patinated or left to naturally tarnish to contrast against the silver.
The aesthetics of each piece have all been carefully considered from their form, size and finish. My work thrives off being interactive with and to give people an experience from their design to the movement with the containers.
I am currently based in Yorkshire Artspace’s, Persistence Works “Starter Studio” where I share a workshop with fellow up-coming jewellers and silversmiths.
