Wayne Meeten is a contemporary silversmith working in the countryside of Devon. He was classically trained at the renowned Arts and Crafts school the Sir John Cass.
He has gained an international following from his time spent studying in Japan, and winning several high profile international awards in the UK, America and Germany.
His designs are highly influenced by his other passion of Tai Chi Chuang and Chi Kung. He has been a qualified teacher in this form of martial art and eastern philosophy for the past 30 years.
He holds a masters degree with distinction, a visiting professorship to Japan, a visiting lecturer at Sir John Cass Metropolitan University and was awarded a QEST Scholarship to push his skills further, learning Zougan Japanese inlay with several living national tresures of Japan.
