I like to describe my design process as an optimistic practice and set out to make work that is both uplifting and celebratory. Functionality is also key. Hopefully my love of the natural world, words, and simple elegance is evident. After 40 years, I am still fascinated with the play of light on silver and gold. My workshop and small gallery is based in Dunblane where I work with a small team of highly skilled craftsmen. I had the great privilege of designing and making the Three Honours Sculpture presented by H.M.The Queen to the Scottish Parliament at the opening of Holyrood in 2004 . My work is held in Royal and Public Collections.
