Erin O’Connor Selects 7 Members | Contemporary British Silversmiths

Since 2014, Goldsmiths’ Fair has featured an illustrious figure in the creative industries in the role of Guest Curator. Zaha Hadid was Guest Curator in 2014 and Julia Peyton-Jones in 2015. This year the Company was delighted to welcome supermodel Erin O’Connor to make her selection.

Erin O’Connor, whose grace, elegance and strong work ethic have catapulted her to the top of the international modelling scene, said:

“My selection reflects my personal style. It’s made up of jewellery I’d happily wear on a variety of occasions and contemporary silver I’d proudly display at home. I love the high degree of craftsmanship in each piece.

I was looking out for exciting up-and-coming talent as well as the more established. I’m attracted to modern and bold statement pieces that are nevertheless accessible. Luckily I was spoilt for choice!”

Knowledgeable about jewellery in the context of fashion, Erin brought an exacting eye to the role of Guest Curator and selected 22 personal highlights from this year’s exhibitors for the Erin O’Connor Selects special showcase.
